Sunset Tomato Tasting

Join us for a beautiful summer evening at Sierra Cider as we celebrate one of the season's greatest harvests—fresh, vine-ripened tomatoes. At the Sunset Tomato Tasting we will go on a behind the scenes tour of our tomato growing area, learn how we grow tomato varieties, and sample a our full selection of cherry, beefsteak, and heirloom tomatoes.

Whether you're a lifelong tomato lover or simply curious about the difference between heirloom and hybrid varieties, you'll discover just how diverse tomato flavors can be. From sweet cherry tomatoes to rich, meaty slicers, you'll have the opportunity to taste and compare our full range of farm-fresh favorites.

As the sun sets over the farm, relax with a refreshing glass of locally crafted hard cider while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and scenic views. You'll also have the chance to ask questions about growing tomatoes, learn tips for getting a better harvest at home.

• Where? Sierra Cider Tasting Room, Join us on the rooftop deck!
• When? Saturday, August 1st from 6:30 - 8:30 PM
• What's included? The tomato tasting, behind the scenes tour, and a glass of cider from the tasting room. (Non-alcoholic options available)
• Who needs a ticket? Adults. Kids are welcome to come with their parents but only one drink is included with the ticket.
• Is this a meal? No. This is a tasting, there will be a lot of tomatoes, more like finger foods than a meal. If you'd like a meal we encourage you to order a pizza from Yosemite Pizza at Sierra Cider.
• Why should I attend? Meat the people growing your food, enjoy the best flavors of summer, and support the work on our farm.
