“Why does ‘Mountain Grown’ matter?” - Recent farmers market patron
Great question! It matters to be locally grown. Most nurseries, big box stores, and other places you see nursery starts sold are getting their plants from commercial greenhouses in Southern California. As gardeners ourselves, we think that locally grown matters.
On top of that, we are proud to grow here in Mariposa County in the Sierra Foothills at 3500 feet. We think Mountain Grown matters and we hope you do, too.
