Sunday afternoon I made progress on the shelf project. We are seeking to maximize our first hoop house, aiming for room for 150 trays of seedlings, that’s 2700 plants.
When will we build our next hoop house? That's a complicated question! Now is a great time to do that but we're so busy sowing seeds for the Spring I just don't know when I can get that done. Also, the cost of all of the steel we use continues to go up, so that's dampening our enthusiasm. Our ultimate goal for year 1 is to have a total of 4 of these. So, lots of building left to do around here!
